So, the 2nd installment of my shoot with Tate Tullier has been posted on DNA Magazine.

Novel Cover

It's been a while since I've updated but I got something fun in my email today and wanted to share it. As you might recall (or scroll down and read), I did a shoot for a romance novel cover. That book is to be titled "Bare Nerve." Well, to get that job I had to go to a casting with the photographer George Kerrigan. He took some test shots and submitted them to the client. George just told me today that the client liked some of the test shots and are going to use one of them for the cover of another novel! Here it is:

Broadway Bares 2008

Hey,
Sorry for the delay but I just wanted to throw up a quick post and some pics from Broadway Bares 2008.
I had a BLAST and met some very fun people. My friend Dave had an amazing party with a few Broadway stars there. Among them; Max von Essen (Broadway: Les Miserables, Dance of the Vampires, Jesus Christ Superstar) , Martha Plimpton (Yup, the blond chick from The Goonies and recent Tony Nominee for her role in Top Girls on Broadway)
At the show I met Jerry Mitchell (Legally Blonde plus too many credits to list, see the link) and Chuck Saculla (Broadway: Dirty Rotten Scoundrels). Jerry let me dance in rotation so I included a few pics of that.
For those of you who aren't familiar with Broadway Bares: Jerry Mitchell is the HBIC of this amazing Broadway's brand of Burlesque show. Tons of Broadway performers donate their time to put on a show to benefit Broadway Cares/Equity Fights Aids. This year they raised nearly $875,000!!

Upadate

What a busy week! I don't even know if I have the strength to update everything but I just took a nap so I will try.
So, my friend came in from FL and we had a blast. I showed him the best of the city that I could find and he loved it. It's always so funny to walk around with out-of-towners and see the things they get excited about. Kind of makes you appreciate the city in a different way... plus, it's cute.
Sunday night I went to see Jason in a comedy show which was amazing. Jason was SO funny as were the comedians he was doing the show with. The show is every Sunday at Barracuda from 8pm to 10pm. If you can make it, it's totally worth it.
After my crazy weekend I had a photo shoot on Monday with Ryan Colford. So, I got up early and headed out to Staten Island. The shoot went well and I had a great time shooting with Ryan again. Hopefully, I'll be able to post those pics soon. I think we got some really great stuff.
On Tuesday, I had a shoot with Tate Tullier who is going to be the featured photographer for DNA Magazine's web-based publication. The photos from that should be coming out in July. I'll post a link as soon as it's up. Also, Tate will be sending me everything from the shoot so whatever DNA doesn't use I may be able to! We had a lot of fun. The shoot was in a gorgeous empty apartment a few blocks from where I live and the lighting was great. We used only the natural lighting coming in through the windows. Tate was awesome, I can't wait to see the photos!
After the shoot with Tate I took a quick nap and then went to an event for 2(x)ist. Jason hired me to model the underwear and walk around talking to guests. I had a great time and met a lot of fun and interesting people. The event was beautiful and everyone seemed to be enjoying themselves. Photos from the event can be found here. Today, (Wednesday) I had a shoot for the cover of a novel coming out called "Bare Nerve" by Katherine Garbera. It's the third book in the trilogy and has some kind of 'Charlie's Angel' type of action. I worked with a model named Anya and the photographer was George Kerrigan who were great to work with. The creative director of the producing company expressed interest in using me for more book covers in the future.
There you have it. Such fun and I am exhausted! Sorry for the long post!

Updates

Hey,
I'm at the hospital working tonight and things are quite (knock on wood) and before I crack open my book I wanted to put in a few updates.
The first is that I was booked to do an event/runway show for 2(x)ist underwear which I'm very excited about. That same day I am going to be shooting an underwear editorial with the DNA Magazine July photographer of the month; Tate Tullier. That shoot will be released on their website. I'll post a link and/or the pics when that comes out. From the sound of things it should be pretty hot! As if that wasn't enough; I booked the cover of a romance novel the following day! That will be shot with George Kerrigan. I don't even know what the title of the yet but I will let you know.
I'm also doing a test shoot with Ryan Colford for some new portfolio material. I've worked with him before and we had a great time and put out some great work! He's a very talented photographer and I'm excited to work with him again!
No wonder I'm so tired all the time. All this and a full time job! Now I know how those busy bees must feel. ;)
This weekend I'm tooling around the city with a friend of mine from out of town. I'm really looking forward to it and I'm sure I will have some stories come Monday. No rest for the weary though, after he heads back to FL... I'm going out with Bruno Rand, another great photographer who does the photography for Baskit underwear among many other things. They are also bloggers... check out those blogs as well. Bruno and I will also being going to comedian and 2(x)ist designer extraordinaire, Jason Scarlatti's comedy show at Barracuda that night which I am really looking forward too! Should be tons of fun.
Alright, I'm going to get to my book. (By which time all the patients will wake up and things will be crazy, I'm sure) I'm only a few pages into "Interview with the Vampire" by Anne Rice. I'll let you know what I think (if anything). Don't give anything away to me... I haven't seen the movie yet. (However I did see Le Stat on Broadway, go figure)
